JIT Capital Microfinance penetrates rural Sierra Leone with its SME Development Scheme

The Microfinance unit of JIT Capital Group which has recently been licensed by the Bank of Sierra Leone to operate as a non deposit taking financial institution has began its rural scheme in areas that are hardly accessible by vehicles in Northern Sierra Leone to promote SMEs doing business in rural areas. According to the Head of JIT Capital Microfinance, Ms. Esther I. Conteh, reaching out to rural farmers and business people will promote financial deepening and inclusion, which is consistent to the investment and business aspirations of JIT Capital Group.

According to the Group CEO/President, JIT Capital Group currently seeks partnership with financial institutions to further strengthen its business activities in rural areas. The Company will soon establish in four communities in the southeastern part of Sierra Leone and two more communities in the Northwest.

JIT Capital Group is currently expanding to accommodate new businesses and believes that trusted partnership and joint venture business is the way forward. This can only happen when Sierra Leoneans continue to genuinely engaged with both the domestic and international business communities.
